Our Research Group was busy again in November and 35 records were updated with census information, death notices, obituaties and other information.

Our Research Group was busy again in November and 35 records were updated with census information, death notices, obituaties and other information.

The updates include information about – Alderman George Blackall who was associated with the Town Council for over 40 years; Mr Frederick Boger who married Annie, the eldest daughter of George Campbell Henville Brigstocke Player, and who was a member of the Royal IW County Hospital Committee; about the sudden death of Mr John Henry Burt who was Chief Superintendent of the Borough Police; the funeral of Mr Harry George Jolliffe who was a Freemason and a Grocer Shopkeeper in the town; and information about many more of the town’s people.
