April 2008 – Invitation to RSHG April Meeting

Our next Members' meeting will be held on Saturday 12th April commencing at 10:30am at the George Street Centre in Ryde.

Our next Members’ meeting will be held on Saturday 12th April commencing at 10:30am until 12:30pm at the George Street Centre in Ryde.

The meeting will be in two parts. Starting with the normal business of the group which will include reports from the Chairperson, Treasurer and Membership Secretary as well as progress reports from our Mapping, Transcribing, Research and Natural History work groups.

After this there will be a talk and presentation on Ryde Waterworks by Fred Caws, a chartered civil engineer with many years experience being employed in the water industry.

The meeting is free to RSHG members and guests are asked to pay £2 on the door.
