In September our Research Team added detail to 33 records on the website.

In September our Research Team added detail to 33 records on the website. This is slightly less than previous months but nevertheless some fascinating detail has been found including information on two of the cemetery superintendents, the obituary for Mr Forer who was the proprietor of Beti’s Cafe in Union Street, information about Mr Edmund Rickard who ran a jewellery business in the High Street, where Hobbs the Jewellers is today, a tribute to an ex-police sergt., and much, much more.
