NOVEMBER 2014 BIOGRAPHICAL ADDITIONS TO RECORDS

In November our Research Team added biographical information to 43 records on the website.

Lots of interesting stories were uncovered by our Research Team in November including:

* Report of the death of Mrs Louisa Annie Adams in January 1950, she had served for many years as a missionary for the Plymouth Brethren in Jamtara, India, where she was in charge of a girl’s school.

* Report of the death of Thomas Dallimore in October 1898. Mr Dallimore was publican at the High Park Tavern in Marlborough Road.

* Report of the death of Mary Ann Gates in April 1935 at the age of 82. Miss Gates had for many years been a domestic servant for Mrs Player Brigstocke at Stonepitts, Binstead Road. Ryde

* Report of the death of Thomas Halloran in November 1942. Mr Halloran had served in the Royal Navy and spent some time on HMS Orlando.
