Stroud Grocer 21 Cross Street Ryde

‘STROUD GROCER’ can be seen clearly on the wall.  The business was run by Mr Edward George Stroud, and although he died in 1919 the grocers shop still traded under his name until at least 1935.  By 1937 Mrs and Miss Stroud were advertising themselves as the proprietors.
