We would like to invite you to join us for our Summer Open Day, we will be at the Heritage Resource Centre in Ryde Cemetery from 10am till 2pm on 22 August.  There will be refreshments available to purchase all the while we are open, so pop in to see us if you are able, we look forward to seeing you.

There are a variety of exhibitions this year with much newly researched material.  Maritime & the Sinking of HMS Royal George;  The Restoration of the chapels Project;  Ryde High Street;  Adams shop in Monkton Street;  and All Saints’ Church, just to mention a few.

There is an excellent Guided Walk at 11am which takes in the lives and history of some of the interesting people interred in the cemetery, also the history of the 3 Chapels.

There are many other types of walks and trails to explore, and you can take time to enjoy the wildlife and summer flowers in bloom.

For those who like Quizzes, you might like to tax your brain with the ones we have prepared, also there are activities for children. It is a bit of fun, so give it a go!
