Summer Open Day 2023

On Tuesday 22 August, when it was a glorious sunny day we had our Summer Open Day at the Resource Centre.  Around 45 people attended and Margaret was able to guide 31 walkers in two groups on walks round different parts of the cemetery.  All 3 chapels were open again with our usual very informative displays which included 2 new displays.  Thank you to our members who were able to “man” the chapels and to those who gave their time and help in other ways.  A new Cabinet Display was added this time too, with old and new artefacts.  It was very encouraging to see so many people to join us for the day which also included refreshments of tea /coffee with homemade cakes.
