Ryde Social Heritage Group invite you to carry out your annual RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch at Ryde Cemetery on Saturday 26 January 2019 from 11am to 1pm.
Despite the cold and drizzly weather 19 people turned up for the Big Garden Birdwatch and 15 actually went out to participate in the count. The others manned the Centre.

On Saturday 29th April, under gloomy skies and with a sharp breeze, a party of thirteen set off from the Ryde Cemetery Learning Centre at the start of a Bird Walk led by Richard Smout.
Ryde Social Heritage Group will be holding a drop-in day on Saturday 29th April 2017 beginning at 10am. when Mr Richard Smout will lead a Bird Walk around the cemetery.
On Saturday 28 January 18 people met at Ryde Cemetery Heritage and Learning Centre for the RSPB Garden Birdwatch event. Fortunately it was dry and sunny, although rather chilly.

The Robin with it’s distinctive bright red breast, adds to the spectacle of winter and we tend to notice them more in our gardens at this time of year.
On Saturday afternoon 23 May about 20 bird watchers enjoyed a walk in the cemetery
