Opening of the Temporary Iron Church on the morning of Wednesday 17th, 1869 (St. Matthias’ Day).


The Windmill near Westmont was built 1809-10 and taken down 1838, and said to have been rebuilt at Upton.


 The old manor house stood in the car park next to the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, later the “Prince Consort”.
