Grave Description: Family sized vault with large obelisk, grass top and inscribed tablet. Inner enclosure stone kerbs with 6 stone posts (evidence that originally there were chains between the posts but chain now missing). Outer enclosure stone kerbs with 12 tall metal posts (evidence that originally there were chains between the posts but chain now missing).

Grave Condition Description: This grave was overgrown and was cleared by The Friends of Ryde Cemetery Group in 2003

On 9 June 2008 Owen Burton contacted us with the following information: "Dr.Kent, born 21/3/1808 @Abingdon Berks. now Oxon.2nd child eld son of Benjamin b.4/11/1783 d. 26/10/1859 & Mary n’©e Brown. b. 1779 d. 9/8/1847. m. All Saints Oxford. He was a Bank Prop. Founder & HM Radley Hall School, now Radley College".
