On 4th November 2007 Jon Matthews contacted us with the following information: "Alfred Edward was the son of Alfred Nathaniel and Ann (nee Prangnell) Matthews born in 1860. He seemed to spend his life as a Paper Hanger, following in his father's footsteps. He married Harriet H Groundsell in 1906".
