September 2007 – RSHG Open Days in Ryde Cemetery

Over the past few weeks we have been working really hard to get everything together for the Open Days next Saturday and Sunday.

Over the past few weeks we have been working really hard to get everything together for the Open Days next Saturday and Sunday.

We have a lot of new display material, so if you have been to our exhibitions before there will be new things for you to see. There will be volunteers on hand to talk to you about the work of RSHG. We have devised a short but interesting guided walk in the area of the cemetery between the gate on West Street and the central Chapels. On the guided walks we will tell you the stories of some of the fascinating people who are buried in Ryde Cemetery.

All we need now is good weather and plenty of people to come and visit us. We intend for our exhibitions to be open from 11am to 4pm on both days and we will be conducting the guided walks for groups of no more than 12 people per group throughout both days.

We hope to see you there!
