On 4 November 2025, Dr Colin Pope led another Fungi Foray in Ryde Cemetery. The weather was dry and not too windy, but there wasn’t such a big range of Fungi to be seen as the previous year. Images are in the gallery below. Species identified were:

There are many different types of fungi in Ryde Cemetery.

As part of the biodiversity study in the Cemetery, a walk was led by Jackie Hart on 22 October 2006 to look for fungi. Jackie said “Unfortunately the forecast heavy rain arrived but we braved the weather!” Read the report here
