October 2007 – New additions to the Website!

Our hard working Research Team is always busy researching and typing up information to add to the records already on the website.

Our hard working Research Team is always busy researching and typing up information to add to the records already on the website. In September 32 records were updated with information such as Death Notices, Obituaties, Census details and/or any other bits of information the Team could find out about the people buried in Ryde Cemetery.

To see the latest additions : On the front page of the website under the “Features and Stories” section, click on the link at the bottom “View All Articles”. This will take you to a page showing all the Featured Articles we have included so far. Scroll right down the bottom of that page and you will see links to all the months when additional information was added to the records. Click on a link to a particular month and a new page will open showing you the list of all the records that were updated in that month. If you click on a name you will be taken to the record for that person.

When viewing any grave record make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the page so that you can see if we have added further information or documents to that record.

It is really worth doing this as some of the records contain fascinating, and sometimes sad, additional information gleaned from a variety of records.
