Christmas Break!

The Transcribing Group is taking a break until the New Year.

The Transcribing Group is taking a break until the New Year so that we can do things like Christmas shopping and also not have to face the winter weather in the cemetery.

This year we have managed to meet up and transcribe memorials in the cemetery on 30 occasions and have added about 1000 new records to the website. A fantastic achievement!

We will recommence the work in the Spring as there is till much work to do to achieve our aim of recording the whole of the cemetery.

In the meantime our Mapping, Research and Publications teams will continue with their valuable work to bring you information about the history of Ryde.
