CHRISTMAS AND MID WINTER EXHIBITION AT RYDE CEMETERY

Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

We have a new, Seasonal, exhibition in the Heritage Centre in Ryde Cemetery.

The display includes information about Christmas in Ryde in times past, some stunning images of Ryde Cemetery in mid winter and some work produced by pupils of Dover Park School.

We have also decorated the centre with Christmas trees and green wreaths made from the shrubbery and trees found in the cemetery.

The exhibition will be on display until at least the end of January (possibly longer) and can be viewed on weekdays between 10am and 4pm (providing the Cemetery Warden is on site). We are attempting to open the Centre at weekends, but as we are only a small group and the weekend opening is dependent upon volunteers being willing and available it may only be open for a few hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
