Our small Research Team added detail to 21 records on the website in December, a fantastic achievement considering the weather and the Christmas season.

Detail this month is mainly from census, birth and marriage registers but also includes:

* Information on the deaths of several children.

* Notice of the death of Miss Brigstocke in 1905

* Wedding of Marie Antionette Hayles in 1905.

* Diamond wedding of Mr & Mrs Phillip Topp in 1922.

* A Royal gift to Mr and Mrs Sutton of Somerset Road, Ryde in 1948
