As part of Ryde Arts Festival (24 June to 2 July) and to celebrate the NatWest Island Games XIV being held on the Isle of Wight (25 June to 1 July) we have an exhibition on Ryde Sporting Life in Ryde Library until 16 July.

The exhibition includes detail about the Ashey Races, Ryde Lawn Mead Tennis Club and other sporting events and characters from Ryde. If you have any memories or photographs of sporting events that you would care to share with us we would love to hear from you. Just click on Contact Us in the green bar at the top of the page.
