ISLE OF WIGHT CREMATORIUM 50TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN DAY CELEBRATION

SUNDAY 21 AUGUST 10:30AM TO 4:30 PM
IN AID OF THE EARL MOUNTBATTEN HOSPICE.

Come and find out about Bereavement services and support our Island Hospice. Throughout the day there will be many activities that you can take part in with the day ending with a memorial service for all those we have lost.

All proceeds from the day will be conated to the Hospice.

Activities will include

* Horse drawn hearse display
* Meet local bereavement groups SANDS, CRUSE and
SOBS
* Meet Cemetery Friends groups
* Flower arranging demonstrations and displays by Mon
Cherie and The Flower Garden florists
* Masonry stonework demonstation and ‘have a go’
sessions
* Card making and art demonstration – Sarah Polton
* Meet local funeral directors
* Guided crematorium tours
* Hand bell ringers
* Wight Diamond marching band
* VOXPOP singers
* Nature trails and bug junts run by The Footprint Trust
* Light refreshments, tea, coffee, cakes and ice cream.

Memorial Dedication Service 4:00pm
