* The death of Mr Malcolm Osborne in July 1954, he was the son of the founder of Osborne’s tailors in Union Street, Ryde and carried on with the business after his father’s death.

* The death of Mr James Coxhead in October 1881, he was a member of Ryde Town Council and left an estate worth over £7,000.

* The death of Mr George Henry Dyer of Binstead in January 1933, he was one of the oldest members of the sick Benefit Club and for some years had been caretaker of Binstead Cemetery.
