Various archives have been searched and in this month’s additions you will find:

* Details of the sudden death of Mr Charles Salter of West Street Ryde in 1907. Mr Salter had been organist at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church for nearly fifty years.

* Death notice for Miss Jane Elizabeth Wight in May 1907, for 46 years she had been friend and companion of Miss Campbell of Argyll House, Ryde.

* Death of Mr Edward Edwin Montcarr White in February 1952. Mr Wright had been the proprietor of the Inez Hairdressing establishment in High Street Ryde.
