ROSEMARIE ROBINSON

We were saddened to hear that our friend and volunteer RoseMarie Robinson passed away unexpectedly at her home on 10 November 2012.

RoseMarie had been a regular volunteer for the past five years helping to transcribe the inscriptions from the memorials in Ryde Cemetery. Janette said “RoseMarie has probably been my most dedicated volunteer, no matter what the weather if we were transcribing RoseMarie would be there. It is down to her dedication that we have achieved so much. I was always spurred on to prepare for the transcribing sessions because I knew that at 10:30 she would be sat on the seat outside the Lodge waiting for me. At every Open Day or event we held she always came and supported us.”

The funeral is at 12:00 on Thursday 22 November at All Saints Parish Church.

Rest in Peace RoseMarie, thank you for all the work you carried for the group, it is appreciated by people from all across the world. It has been a pleasure to know you and you will be sadly missed.”
