Archive & Records Day

Ryde Social Heritage Group are holding an Archive & Records Day in Ryde library on the 6^th February from 10am till 4pm. We hope to see you there.

For those interested in the rich heritage of Ryde and its people, our extensive archive will be there to browse, and members will be available to answer any questions. Perhaps you may wish to search through our “Street” folders to see what was happening in your area, or check out the Directories to discover who was living in your house or nearby. Delve into property and buildings for sale, the contents and prices, and much more.

An Archivist will be on hand with a variety of items from the Record Office for you to peruse at your leisure. Come along and take a peek at Ryde’s colourful past.

Refreshments will be available too.
