Another Award for RSHG

South & South East in Bloom

RSHG have received another award, a Certificate of Excellence for the South & South East in Bloom, associated with Ryde Cemetery.

Marilyn and Ann went along to the Presentation Evening held at the Esplanade Hotel on 18 October 2016 and collected the award on behalf of the group, from Councillor Phil Warren.

We would like to thank all the people who helped with this achievement. Those who assisted in the Heritage & Learning Centre on the drop-in days for the nature walks over the past year, and the general public who came along to see the flora and wildlife and explore the trails hoping to spot something new. It is also very rewarding when the local schoolchildren get involved, it is a pleasure when they visit.
