Archive & Records Day 2017

Ryde Social Heritage Group are holding an Archive & Records Day in Ryde library on the 4^th February from 10am till 2pm. We hope to see you there.

For those interested in the rich heritage of Ryde and its people, our extensive archive will be there to browse, and members will be available to answer any questions.

The main theme on the day will be “The Family.” Photographs, Baptisms, Marriages and much more to look at. If you have anything that you would like to bring along to show us, please do so. Unseen photographs and general family items of interest promote conversation and reminiscences. A chance to catch up with friends and meet new people with a like interest.

An Archivist will be on hand with a variety of items from the County Record Office for you to peruse at your leisure. Come along and take a peek at Ryde’s colourful past.
