Visit to St Michael’s Church Memories Coffee Morning

On Saturday 2 June 2018, Ryde Social Heritage Group members attended a Coffee Morning at St. Michael’s Church Hall.

The event was well attended by local people, to chat and recall their memories of childhood, the Haylands area and school days.  It is with concern that the hall may be sold, thereby depriving the area of a meeting place for various events, and we trust that with support from the local community, this will be avoided.  Members endeavour to attend local events, throughout the Island, to connect with the Community as a whole.
