WW1 Centenary

We will be opening the Ryde Cemetery Heritage & Learning Centre for three days each week running up to Remembrance Day, beginning on 23 October, see dates and times on the poster.

On all those days, for our commemoration of the WW1 Centenary, we will have exhibitions for you to peruse and special crosses have been made and will be placed to mark the memorials of all those lost.

There will be guided walks, or you can have a wander round and look yourself at the crosses as they will be very easy to spot. If you just wish to have a cuppa and a chat, we will be very pleased to see you.

Light refreshments will be available all the while we are open.

A Service of Remembrance will take place in the Ryde Cemetery Chapel on Thursday 8 November at 6.30pm. followed by refreshments.
