Ann and Margaret with our display board

At the recent IOWFHS Annual General Meeting and One Day Conference, held at The Newport Methodist Church on 4th May, 10am till 5pm, we, the Ryde Social Heritage Group had a fascinating time as we displayed our work and research, showing the people who came along what we do at RSHG.  We had our events board up for 2019 which we now have in the Resource Centre.  We also gave details of our work at the centre and also some helpful photos of the volunteers at work.  We were able to talk to a lot of people about the archive material we have, and were able to display some valuable pictures from the “Roy Brinton Collection”, so that others can enjoy his lifetimes work.
