Christmas Drop-In 2021

On Saturday 4^th December Ryde Social Heritage Group held a Christmas Celebration Drop-in at the Resource Centre at Ryde Cemetery, we were unable to hold the event last year. The Centre was festively decorated and we had a visiting organist who played Christmas Carols for us, which was well received. We had about 19 people join us, a mix of members and non-members, which filled the centre, leaving just enough space to enable social distancing. There were home-made cakes, mulled wine, tea, coffee and mince pies during the 4 hours that we were open.

The South chapel was open with carols playing via a CD, and visitors could have a look at our new “Maritime theme” display boards.
