Social Morning 5 July

We were very pleased to see more members turn up for our Social Morning on Saturday 5th July, also some visitors who had seen our advertising, thank you all who were able to support us.  The usual light refreshments were available, and the raffle that was readily joined in. There was a lot of chat going on with plenty of time for people to socialize.

At approximately 11 o’clock, Mark Earp began his presentation, “Isle of Wight Cornucopia (No. 2), “Water, Light & Misty Claims.”  Mark’s talk with photos, was certainly excellent. The title of the talk didn’t give any real clues as to the content, so it was a nice surprise and really interesting. It was often amusing, which had the audience laughing.  We look forward to hearing the next in the series of talks. Thank you Mark for your part in making our morning enjoyable.

Taking all into consideration, and with a thank you to the volunteers, a very successful morning was had by all.
