IN THE ADJACENT GROUND LIE THE REMAINS OF
WILLIAM MOORE M.D.
FELLOW OF THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS LONDON
AND FORMERLY PRINCIPAL PHYSICIAN TO THE
ARMY DEPOT IN THIS ISLAND.
HE DIED APRIL 4TH 1832 AGED 66
THIS LAST TRIBUTE TO GRATEFUL VENERATION IS PLACED HERE
BY MARGARET, FOR 38 YEARS HIS AFFECTIONATE WIFE
AND THEIR CHILDREN
TO THE MEMORY OF A MOST INDULGENT PARENT
FIRMLY TRUSTING THROUGH THE MERITS OF THE GREAT REDEEMER
TO REJOIN HIM IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
