Grave Description: Large headstone with side columns and ornately carved top engraved with flowers.

Grave Condition Description: Leaning backwards and some weathering to face of stone making inscription difficult to read in places.

Other Information: Additional information supplied by Janet Wells: Margaret Elizabeth Dennis was born at Saxthorpe Norfolk.

Her father: Bosom Dennis was a Norfolk cattle dealer of Edgefield Norfolk, Her mother: Christiana Winfield.

She had worked for a family - I am told that their name was Dennison - at Wootton.

She became engaged to a James Alford while on the Isle of Wight but then - tragically - died at the age of 27.
