Other Information: Additional information provided by Geoff Garside: Sarah was born on 29 June 1822 in Worksop. Her father was William Garside, born 15 October 1787 in Nottinghamshire. There is a fairly comprehensive set of data on the Garside family, including Sarah, back to 1575 on the Mormon Pedigree Resource File database, submitted by a member of an American branch of the family, who seem now to be more numerous than the British. Sarah is listed on PRF CD Number 67 under two PIN Numbers, 693912 and 695614. She is also listed in British Records. In the 1841 Census she was resident in Worksop, under surname Garthride. In the 1851 Census she was resident in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire, listed as a servant/cook. Her death was registered on the IW - 1855 Oct-Dec,Vol 2b, Page 525 (?) She does not appear to have married.
