Other Information: On 25th February 2008 Alf Murdoch (Alfred and Grace's son) contacted us with the following information: "My father, Alfred Eldred Murdoch, was employed as a dental technician at the dental practice 9 Melville Street. When he died the surgery was closed so that all the staff could attend his funeral at Holy Trinity Church in Dover Street. My father and mother lived at 19 Melville Street which they bought when they came to the Island in 1961. My mother sold the house some time after my father died". Alf also contributed a photograph of his parents which can be seen by scrolling down the page and clicking on the thumbnail image.
