Other Information: In September 2012 we were contacted by Ian Carpenter with the following information "Ernest and Gwendoline Carpenter were my parents. Dad was organist at Ryde Baptist Church for over 50 years and Mum was a member of the choir there and that's how they met. Mum was also an Officer in Ryde Girls' Brigade for several years, latterly based at the URC in Haylands. The grave plot behind theirs is Mum's brother and his wife Bill and Bridget Baker".
