WHEN HE BECAME BAND MASTER
OF THE 1st BATTALION WEST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT
UNTIL MAY 1893
AND FOR OVER 20 YEARS PRECEDING HIS DEATH
HE WAS BAND MASTER OF THE
PRINCESS BEATRICE'S ISLE OF WIGHT RIFLES
DIED NOVEMBER 8th 1898
AGED 55 YEARS
