Other Information: George Cross, age 83 of 70 Park Road, Ryde, died 1 February 1988 St Mary's Hospital, Newport, buried Monday 15 February 1988, Undertaker Langdons of Ryde. George added a second name Percy in memory of his brother and is shown as George Percy Cross on his marriage certificate 21 April 1932 at All Saints Church, Ryde to Gwendoline Eugenie Dulcie Cass. Percy was drowned off Cowes age 19. Gwendoline died in 1960 and is buried in Ryde Cemetery. Information supplied by granddaughter Carol Strong.
