Grave Description: Curved topped headstone with shoulders and engraved lettering.
Grave Condition: Poor
Grave Condition Description: Heavy black lichen cover makes text difficult to read. Headstone is leaning backwards and has been wedged in place with a footstone, broken pot and stones. Footstone wedged at rear of headstone is not likely to belong to this plot.
Other Information: Burial date taken from 1986/87 Museums Community Project. Spelling of place APSE DOWN on MCP records but clearly APES on headstone.
