Grave Description: Large flat stone topped grave with slab on plinth. Originally had railings but these have been removed long ago.
Grave Condition Description: Inscription very worn, one corner is broken and there is slight subsidence.
Other Information: According to the obituary in The Gentleman's Magazine of 1862 John Vaux died at his residence, Barfield Lodge, Ryde, aged 89.
