Other Information: Information from Anthony Baker (son of William and Bridget Baker) in August 2011: William was in the Royal Navy for many years and served on HMS Diadem, a battle cruiser, during WW2. He took part in escorting convoys to Russia, D-Day and this was the first British ship to visit Denmark after liberation.
