THERE ARE TWO HEADSTONES THE ABOVE IS THE FIRST HEADSTONE

Grave Condition Description: THE HEADSTONES ARE FAIR BUT THERE IS QUITE A LOT OF LICHEN GROWING AND IS VERY OVERGROWN WITH GRASS

Other Information: The following information has been provided by Philip Candy: "James Harding CANDY was baptised on 15 June 1817 at Evercreech, Somerset to Richard Candy and Rebecca HARDING. His wife Sarah Ann was originally Sarah Ann GEORGE from Scaldwell in Northamptonshire. They married in 1863 in the Epping Registration District. James Candy had a brother named Benjamin who also lived in Ryde for many years. Benjamins' wife Rebecca died at Ryde in the June Quarter of 1886".
