Mrs Susanna Charlotte Musson Brock
Additional information contributed by Gina Ambridge in January 2014: "Susannah was born 3 May 1838, Barbados, daughter of William Griffith a barrister-at-law and plantation proprieter (Windsor & Frenches Estates) and his wife Sophia Grant. Her brother brother William Brandford Griffith K.C.M.G. Governor of the Gold Coast. She married Nicholas Mourant Brock a Captain; 4th West India Regiment (1869), and later in 1881 Honorary Major 1st West India Regiment. The couple were married at St StephenÈs, Paddington, London 22 Sept 1869. Until NicholasÈ death in 1886 they lived Kensington, LND, & Uxbridge, MDX. After NicholasÈ death Susannah moved back to Paddington, LND (1891), then Portsmouth, HAM (1901) and Harlington, MDX (1911) They had no issue."
