Other Information: In January 2013 we were contacted by Chris Gale with the following message "Veronique Grace Parry was my grandmother, and Valerie Jean Goulding Palmer was my mother. The memorial was initially placed flat on the ground in line with my grandmother's wishes. This turned out not to be practical, and it was re-positioned vertically following my mother's burial. The choice was made of Portland stone for the memorial, because the Pictor family was involved with the mining of stone through the Bath and Portland stone company. (see link below).
