Other Information: Information supplied by Tim Mann October 2011: My mother was in the military during WWII. She was in the Field Army Nursing Yeomary (FANY) and attached to the Special Operations Executive (SOE). She later transferred to the WAAF (later the WRAF) and was a Flight Officer until she married my father in Singapore where they were both stationed in 1955.
