Grave Description: Large chest tomb with double moulded top and large deep base. Inset panels on all sides, blank cartouche in centre of south side. Engraved lettering on lid of tomb

Grave Condition Description: A large solid box memorial but the heavy lichen cover and weathering on the stone, severe in places (shallow saucer type impression above beginning of inscription) makes text very difficult to read

Other Information: Burial date from 1986/87 Museums Community Project and the burial date record has the surname spelling DOWNES
