Grave Description: Large vault with iron railing and gate surround with a concrete and grass top. Large coffin shaped monument with a stone cross laid on the top. Monument is surrounded by six upturned cannons that hold iron chains. This grave is part of a larger grave incorporating the remains of Sir John Lees, his wife, and daughter.

Grave Condition Description: Prone to overgrowing. The stone itself is weathered and at times hard to read, and has slight damage to the corners caused by growth of ivy.

IN MEMORY OF GENERAL SIR JAMES LILYMAN CALDWELL G.C.B SERVED UNDER GENERAL FLOYD IN INDIA 1792, UNDER LORD CORNWALLIS AND GENERAL HARRIS 1799, AND UNDER GENERAL ABERCOMBIE 1810. HE DIED 28TH JUNE 1863 IN THE 93RD YEAR OF HIS LIFE.

South facing - at the side of the cross on the top:

IN REMEMBERENCE OF ENSIGN HENRY SULLIVAN OF H.M. 48TH REGIMENT WHO DIED IN GIBRALTER 31ST MARCH 1840 AGED 18 YEARS.

East facing:

"BELOVED GOD IS MY SALVATION I WILL TRUST AND NOT BE AFRAID"

North facing:

IN MEMORY OF ELIZABETH SULLIVAN WIDOW OF THE LATE EDWARD SULLIVAN ESQ. DIED 18TH DECEMBER 1870.

North facing - at the side of the cross on the top:

RICHARD JAMES SULLIVAN ELDEST SON OF E. SULLIVAN ESQ. GRANDSON OF SIR RICHARD SULLIVAN, BART. DIED 6TH FEBRUARY 1858 AGED 41 YEARS.
