I believe the missing month on the gravestone is probably July as this is the feast day for St Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary. Anne Fairall was born 6 July 1860 to George Fairall and Charlotte (nee Hollis) as per the notice in the IW Observer 'on the 16th inst., at High-street, Ryde, the wife of Mr. George Fairall, carpenter, of a daughter.' Source IW Observer, 21 July 1860. According to the 1911 census she was a housekeeper to a Catholic priest in Mere, Wiltshire, along with her elder sisters, Charlotte and Elizabeth Maria. None of these 3 ever married."
