Nov 7th 1907: CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW – The annual show was held at the Town Hall. Mr. GOBLE’s roses were splendid for the time of the year. Mr. DIMMICK showed a varied collection of plants and flowers.
Nov 14th 1907: FOG – The fog on Monday caused the suspension of nearly all the traffic between the Island and the mainland.
Nov 21st 1907: AWARD – William George TILL, age 14, of Upper Boys School, Ryde, had the honour of having his photograph reproduced in the “Daily Mirror,” and receiving the silver medal for not having been absent from school for ten years. This is a remarkable performance and we congratulate him on such a fine record.
Nov 28th 1907: FAREWELL TEA & MEETING – The Rev. E. Bruce PEARSON closes his pastorate of 19 years at the Baptist Church, George-street on Sunday next. On Monday following there will be a public tea at 5.30 and a public meeting at 6.30. All the ministers in the Free Churches in the town are expected to be present.

Nov 2nd 1907: LATE BOAT – The late boat leaving Portsmouth Harbour after the Theatres, for Ryde, will be retained during November, at which many Ryde people will be thankful.
Nov 2nd 1907: PLEASANT OUTING – Mr. W. P. BRIGSTOCKE’s pond in Spencer-road is a delight of children and it is quite a favourite afternoons occupation to go and see the birds.
Nov 2nd 1907: THE FORESHORE – The majority of Ryde people would like to see the Town Council make a serious effort to collect the sand on the foreshore.
Nov 9th 1907: CONSERVATIVE CLUB – Two lamp standards have been placed on the entrance gate of the Conservative Club in Lind-street. They add very greatly to the appearance of the club and will enable the premises to be more easily found by visitors after dark.
Nov 23rd 1907: RYDE POPULAR CONCERTS – At the next concert on Monday afternoon, Madam Anna SHERGOLD will sing Stephen ADAM’S new song “Farewell to the Desert”, accompanied by the composer.
Nov 30th 1907: COMMEMORATION – A shilling subscription is being raised among the members of the Ryde Y.M.C.A., to commemorate the 24 years service of the late Mr. Thomas DASHWOOD, by placing a framed portrait in the rooms of the institute.
