You are invited to our social Coffee Morning on Saturday 27 July at the Heritage Resource Centre in Ryde Cemetery, any time between 10am and 2pm.


We were pleased to have many of our members and some visitors, turn up for our Social Morning at the George Street Centre, Ryde, today, Saturday 6 July. 


We invite you to join us for a leisurely walk around Ryde Cemetery on Tuesday 23 July, when there will be a Butterfly Count, led by Richard Smout.


On Friday 25 July 1884, the Ryde and St Helens members of the Board of Guardians, with a kindly feeling deserving of the greatest praise, gave a treat to the workhouse children.


The notice of a removal was advertised in the local press which said: We think our readers should be made aware of a rather important removal. 


During the week the Pier Pavilion has been occupied by the Willow Pattern Serenaders, one of the cleverest and most entertaining little companies ever seen in Ryde.
