In September, our busy research team added 42 biographical records to names on the website, including that of Mr Alfred Edwin Macleod-Carey, manager of the National Telephone Co.


In August, our busy research team added 42 biographical records to names on the website, including that of Miss Kate Hollis, who started her career as a pupil teacher.


This is an annual event run by Butterfly Conservation and the aim is to record as many of the commonest species as possible in the course of 15 minutes.
